Just for fun I decided to check my BMI and also see what my BMI would be at my target weight. I went here. Right now I am on the very edge between normal and overweight. Even at my target weight of 120 I would still be safely in the middle of normal. 120 here I come! Except for the unfortunate M&M binge this afternoon. *sigh*

oh joy, something I didn't want to know about myself. Or rather, something I wanted to know but am not thrilled at the number I got.
Don't let your BMI discourage you too much.
Remember that BMI is just a VERY GENERAL guideline. In college, when Rob had a whole of 10% body fat and a lot of muscle, his BMI placed him at overweight almost obese.
It takes no account of muscle to fat ratio, bone density or bone structure. Just keep up the good work.
Okay, so I just did Rob BMI. At his height 6 ft and weight 220 lbs he comes in at a whopping 29.8 BMI. 30 is obese. Does Rob look obese to you? Now, Rob could stand to loose about 15 lbs but that would still put him in the middle range of overweight. See what I mean. VERY GENERAL.
And then for some of us it's totally accurate. Maybe it's generous to me by assuming I have ANY muscle. ha ha!
